You will need access to a welder to mount our Knuckle onto the top of your Manual Driver. Mounting should be in a way that has your handles running parallel to your fence. Generally, Clamp mount's on righthand side, same side as your hydraulic controls. Our Clamp is held onto your bucket by drilling a 1/2" hole. Top of Clamp is threaded to except our 1/2" bolt. This bolt goes through from the bottom of Clamp then up through your bucket to be threaded into Clamp. (No wedging bolt from the top. It just won't hold together) Use our washers as a spacer if needed to shim-up Clamp onto bucket. Use washers as a spacer to shim-up inside bucket, then snug clamp to bucket. That will allow your handheld pounder to be pinned under your bucket with our Front Clamp. You press down your posts using your tractor's front weight and you still can use your pounder as before when needed. (Facts) Farm Utility Tractors have
been used to press down Tee Posts from their conception. The problems are
actually leveling out the bucket over your tee post then this post needs to
slide across as the bucket while pressing down. (2) Compound that with softer
metals for new posts and then the taller the posts the easier bending gets.
It’s just not a sure thing and posts do drive down easier if they were bowed just
a little toward the tractor. (3) Your utility tractor shouldn’t have any
implement hanging off the back. (This turns your tractor into a teeter/tauter and
you lose the engine front weight advantage. It is already tough for compact/tractors with
their light engines.) How to help? The sweet pot for mounting your Front Clap
is the right corner. You are able to watch your Helper, Hand Levers and Driver
all at the same time. (Size of your tractor could be a factor so test then
choose where to mount.) With our Front-Clamp the bucket is tilted up allowing
dirt in the right corner of your bucket. To be clear too much weight will make
the lifting and lowering dangerous but some weight it fine. (The very best
place to add more weight is between the front tires.) Time to place your
t-posts in the box with the posts sticking out over the right and please take
operating slow at first. Always operate with safety in mind. Dealing with dry
ground or Desert/Duty should have these words added to it. (impossible without
help) Northern States have Frozen
Ground and that ground thaws form
the top down so (Patients). Our
Drives make this way easier, but extremes are challenging for everyone. (Extremely Harden Ground). If your tractor’s front
end starts to come off the ground STOP. Options are more weight or chop to
moisture.
